it is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters,
as opposed to using ‘Content here, content here’, making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum
as their default model text, and a search for ‘lorem ipsum’ will uncover many web sites still in their infancy.

SEA OF GALILEE | IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF JESUS
Begin a day that carries you back in history to the time of Jesus. Cruise the Sea of Galilee by private boat and view Tabgha, where the miracle of the loaves and fishes is said to have occurred, and the Mount of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount. Continue to Capernaum, home of St. Peter and the synagogue where Jesus taught. Drive to Banias, a source of the Jordan River where archaeological remains dating back millennia have been discovered. Cap off the day with a sommelier-hosted Israeli wine tasting in the hotel’s wine cellar.

- DAY 4
NAZARETH | SITES OF THE NEW TESTAMENT
Today, discover Nazareth, boyhood home of Jesus, to see the Basilica of the Annunciation; Mary’s Well, where an angel is said to have visited; and an area below the Church of St. Joseph, thought by some to be the site of Joseph’s carpentry shop. Traverse the Jordan Valley to the Decapolis city of Beit Shean. Later, arrive in Jerusalem.

JERUSALEM | SPIRITUAL EPICENTER
Explore the Old City of Jerusalem, built by King David in 1004 BC. Start at the Mount of Olives for a view of the city, and visit the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed with his disciples. Enter the Old City and pause at the Western Wall, one of Judaism’s most sacred sites. Also view the Temple Mount (Al Haram el-Sharif), with its Dome of the Rock. In the Christian Quarter, walk the Via Dolorosa and see the Convent of Zion Sisters, where Pilate tried Jesus. The day culminates at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, traditional site of Jesus’ crucifixion, burial and resurrection.

YOUR JOURNEY

CLOTHING
We strongly advise that you pack clothes according to the season in which you visit Israel. For summers, pack light weight clothing, preferably short-sleeved or sleeveless shirts with shorts, and sandals. For winter tours, pack a coat and a raincoat with shoes that fully cover your feet, an umbrella, gloves, a scarf, and other warm items. Beach shoes and a bathing suit are a plus if your trip includes a visit to Eilat or the Dead Sea. Even in summer, pack a sweater or jacket for the chilly nights in the mountains and desert
ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
Pack your personal appliances as you would for any international trip. Note that the power grid in Israel offers single-phase 220 Volts at 50 Hertz. Most sockets in the walls there have threepinholes, butbringing an adaptor plug will solve that problem. If you or somebody in your group intends to use shavers, traveling irons, or any other small appliances, it would be wise to pack a transformer as well
PASSPORTS & VISAS
All visitors to Israel must carry a passport that does not expire for at least six months after they intend to depart from the country. Visitors to Israel must check if they need a prearranged tourist visa depending on their nationality
CURRENCY
The Israeli currency is the New Israeli Shekel. On arrival in Israel, use your bank-card to withdraw some Shekels from the ATM in the arrival-halls at Ben Gurion or change a small amount of dollars at a bank or your hotel. There are ATM machines all over Israel and credit cards are widely accepted.
