REGIONAL TOURS
- DAY 1
DUBAI
Arrival, Meet and assist from Dubai International Airport and transfer to the hotel (in the meeting point, after immigration procedures). Check in, overnight at the hotel.
- DAY 2
HALF DAY DESERT SAFARI (4WD)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning is free.
Desert Safari. This tour departs in the afternoon across the desert with photo-stops during an exciting dune drive and visit the camel farm. The drive continues across the desert. Watch the beautiful sunset in the desert. Reach our campsite, where you have the opportunity to do camel riding, sand boarding and try out a henna design on hands or feet. After working up an appetite enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner and a shisha (the famous Arabic water pipe). Before returning, watch our belly dancer performing her show around the campfire by starlight, return to the hotel, and overnight.
- DAY 3
DUBAI HALF DAY DUBAI CITY TOUR
Breakfast. City tour, Sample the historic sites and vibrant cosmopolitan life of Dubai on this comprehensive tour. The tour starts with a photo-stop at the famous landmark of Dubai, Burj Al Arab. Proceed to Jumeirah, the picturesque palace and residential area of Dubai, also pass by the famous Jumeirah Mosque. The tour continues to Al Bastakiya, the old part of Dubai, to reach the Dubai Museum located in Al Fahidi Fort. All aboard the Abra (water taxi) to cross the Creek to the spice souk. On your return, there is time to shop in the most famous landmark of Dubai – the gold souk, and back to the hotel.
Free Afternoon and overnight at the hotel.
- DAY 4
DUBAI – HALF DAY SHARJAH CITY TOUR – DHOW CRUISE
Breakfast. Half day Sharjah city tour. This tour will take you to Sharjah, the ‘Pearl of the Gulf’. We start with a photo-stop at the magnificent Al Noor Mosque on Al Buhaira Corniche and proceed to the largest mosque in Sharjah, the King Faisal Mosque. We then visit the renovated Fort of Sharjah, former residence of the ruling family originally built in 1820 and continue the tour with a walk to the heritage area or Sharjah’s ‘Old Town’. After a stroll through the restored traditional market Souk Al Arsa, visit Bait Al Naboodah for a glimpse of a traditional family home and typical Arabian Gulf architecture. Before returning, you have time to explore Souk Al Markazi – a treasure trove of carpets, jewelry and handicrafts, back to the hotel.
Evening Dhow Cruise. For a fabulous relaxing evening join our traditional for an evening’s cruise on the Creek. Enjoy a sumptuous feast of Arabic and International cuisine while gently gliding past illuminated souks, banks and palaces, return and overnight at the hotel.
- DAY 5
DUBAI – ABU DHABI – DUBAI
Breakfast. Discover the highlights of Abu Dhabi, capital of the Emirates, known as the Arabian Jewel. Jebel Ali Port, the biggest man-made port in the world is one of the landmarks that we pass on the way to Abu Dhabi. On arrival, the first destination is the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the world. We then continue to visit the Sheikh Zayed Centre to get a glimpse into the private life of H.H. Sheikh Zayed, who is often referred as “The Father of the UAE”. Our final stop is the Heritage Village where we journey to the past to explore the life before oil was discovered. On our return, we drive along the beautiful Corniche and stop by Ferrari World Theme Park for a photo. Drive back to hotel and overnight.
Dress Code: Loose long trousers or long skirts & long sleeves. No shorts for men, no tight & transparent clothing. Women must cover their head with a scarf. Return to the hotel in Dubai, dinner and overnight.
- DAY 6
DUBAI – EAST COAST (Al Fujairah) – DUBAI
Breakfast. The tour begins with a drive through the lush oasis of Al Dhaid, renowned for its fruit and vegetable plantations. Then onto Masafi, and the picturesque Hajar Mountains before reaching the village of Dibba, for a wander around the small port. The drive continues along the coast, through fishing villages. During your lunch break enjoy a relaxing swim in the Indian Ocean. You drive to Al Badiyah, the oldest mosque in the Emirates. In Fujairah you stop at the renovated Fort. Before returning, there is a last stop at the oasis of Bithnah and time to browse around the ‘Friday Market’ in Masafi. Back to the hotel in Dubai and overnight.
- DAY 7
DUBAI – Free Day
Breakfast. Fee Day. overnight at the hotel.
- DAY 8
DEPARTURE
Breakfast. Check out then transfer to Dubai International Airport for departure flight
CLOTHING
Egypt is generally a hot country, so light cotton clothing is advisable for the warmer months (April to September) and a light jacket for the evenings during the cooler months (October to March). Modest dress is particularly important when visiting mosques, synagogues and churches.
ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES
Egypt electrical current is 220V, and sockets take the standard continental European dual round-pronged plug.
PASSPORTS
Your passport should be valid for a minimum period of 6 months from the date of entry into Egypt.
A tourist visa is required to enter Egypt.
CURRENCY
The unit of currency is the Egyptian Pound (LE), which is divided into 100 piasters. Pounds are issued in notes of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200. Coins are issued in denominations of LE1 and 25 and 50 piasters.
